Five Steps from Home - Level 4
The Game
Five Steps from Home is the fruit of a collaboration among 5 developers who planned to make a level (step) each for a game with a common story.
- Step 1 was made by Xanderwood
- Step 2 was made by BLANKdev
- Step 3 was made by Frozen Well
- Step 5 was made by Marlin
After a crash on an alien planet, the player need to find all the pieces to repair their spaceship and make their way back home.
Level 4 is a short puzzle level where the player will have to navigate across a frozen lake, using ice spikes to thrust themselves around in order to find the missing pieces.
This level was also submitted to the "Very Funky JamMas #1" since its making fell within the time limits and the theme seemed appropriate.

Recommendations:
The game works and can be fully experienced without incurring in any problems.
Due to the "game-jam"-like nature of the project though you might come in some minor bugs. I apologize in advance in case that should happen.
Trying to purposely break the game might lead to success in doing so.
If you wanna play the web version of the game I recommend you enter full screen mode.

Quite Good game. I love the way u made it 2.5d. There are minor bugs here and there. My main concern is about to find the phase compactor. I didn't find a way to it although I played the game for about 2 hrs. Other than that the game is impressive. Ty for adding props made by me.GG
Hey there Ojas! Thank you! Yeah, it gets a little bit glitchy in some points but nothing game breaking and since I made all the mechanics in one day I'll take it.
To find the Phase Compactor you really need to look for every clue: not a single element in the map is positioned randomly and everything is there for a reason...maybe I'm secretly trying to hint the correct route? :P
Thank you for playing and for your amazing support!
Ty whateep for the clue. Btw full respect to you cause you made the mechanics in one day. Really appreciate it. Keep the good work up my man.
It's fine Whateep I didn't want that half an hour anyway... All jokes aside this is an absolute masterpiece for such a short amount of time, I love it, amazing job! Best of luck for the jam!
LOL! I really appreciate that! The relief in your voice when you finally found the phase compactor was priceless!
It just goes to show how much I was invested in the game!
